Extended Family, Extended Home

A young family made the choice to construct an extension on their parents' property in Kahala.  S. Tanaka worked with them to design a two-story addition featuring three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms. The new extension integrated harmoniously with the existing structure of the parents' property, delivering the extra space they needed.
